This 8,500 s.f. Neo-Classical Residence located in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago was designed with an Urban Villa feeling. The U shape floor plan embraces an outside courtyard, allowing the intermingling of functions while maintaining privacy.

 

Unique Indiana Limestone custom cut profiles are featured. The combination of French and Texas limestone, as well as Jerusalem Mosaics used provide an elegant and warm setting to the home. The one of a kind custom designed steel and glass entry door is just an example of the elegance you find inside.

 

The spaces are enhanced with domes and layering of the ceilings. The grand limestone staircase with the brazilian cherry and iron handrail maintains the grace throughout the home. At the Penthouse level a circular skylight floods the stairs with light onto the first floor mosaic medallion reflecting the image of the stars above. All of the limestone, iron, and cabinetry work including the kitchen, baths and bar areas were custom designed by Frances Rovituso Strange
