Museum Park Residence
The transformation of a white vanilla box of this developers unit in a residential high rise located just south of Millennium Park takes on the classical elegance of the Natural History Museum just across the drive.
Although the views of the city were exquisite,
this three bedroom condominium was a blank canvas, a sterile space with no character. While maintaining the openness
throughout the unit, spaces were created with architectural elements such as the arched colonnade and curved limestone wall at the built-in Breakfast Area, to provide a sense of scale and function.
The blend of rich, exotic textures and finishes with locally harvested materials is intended to create ambience as well as a reflection of the locale and lifestyle of the clients. As you enter the Foyer with it’s venetian
plastered walls and gold trim around the crown molding details, you sense the warmth carried throughout. Before and after pictures show the transformation.
